    To accommodate graduate students who live outside the New Haven area or in other states, the MS in Bilingual, Multicultural Education and TESOL program offers a Summer Residency Program. This unique opportunity allows students to complete intensive on-ground summer courses while residing on Southern’s campus, eliminating the need for daily travel and fostering a strong sense of community.
    During the fall and spring semesters, students continue their studies through online or hybrid courses, maintaining flexibility while progressing through the program. The residency model supports a cohort-based learning experience, encouraging collaboration, peer support, and deep engagement with faculty and coursework.

    The M.S. in Bilingual, Multicultural Education and TESOL program offers a Summer Residency Program option to accommodate graduate students who live far from New Haven in Connecticut and in other states. The program offers intensive on-ground summer classes and online/hybrid fall and spring classes. Students form a cohort and have an opportunity to reside on Southern's campus in order to facilitate the intensity of summer study and eliminate travel.
